I didn’t choose the healing life; the healing life chose me… That sums up how my journey as a
Reiki Energy Healer began. When I signed up for my first Reiki course, I barely knew what
energy healing was and had never had a session.  At the time, I was a sorta kinda yogi who
cursed during the Pigeon pose and worked hard on meditating without falling asleep. During
one of my successful, non-sleeping, meditations I received the word Reiki and noted the foreign
word in my journal. Weeks later, I decided to take a course on intuitive healing. In the class the
instructor spoke briefly about Reiki and I signed up for the first course to see what it was all
about. That’s when everything changed! I quickly learned that the “healing hands” my Great
Grandmother said I always had was real and I could truly help people with this gift! Profound
purpose and fulfillment flooded my life, but the journey hasn’t been all sunshine and unicorns.
I’m still a sorta kinda yogi, who sometimes falls asleep during meditation and found her passion
offering Reiki Energy Healing to all.

Star Child, Tarot + Oracle Feeler, Tattoo Addict, Visionary, Herb + Plant Medicine + Tea
Enthusiast… I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child Development from Michigan
State University, with 15 years of social work and healing experience. I’m supported in my
endeavors by my husband, 3 kids + canine Tommy Thunder Rocks.
