She/They

My name is Barrie Seigle, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My work focuses on fostering compassion and acceptance of ourselves, and recognizing our strengths. I believe in the importance of developing a therapeutic relationship that is genuine and collaborative.

I utilize an eclectic approach to sessions, understanding every person is different and unique. A foundation of my therapeutic practice is acknowledging and exploring the impacts of systemic oppression and injustice on our health. To do this, I use trauma-informed, person-centered, strengths-based approaches. I also apply a holistic lens, recognizing the body and brain are not separate entities, and that wellness is a collective endeavor.

I enjoy and have experience working with young adult and adult individuals who are experiencing LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship concerns, trauma, anxiety, and/or depression. I have completed training for Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and can use this modality in addition to talk therapy or on its own for brief, solution-focused therapy. I am also drawn to spiritual practices, astrology, and energy work, all of which can be additional tools in my practice. Additionally, I am certified in Usui Reiki I and II.
