Caroline Callaway, Practicum Student, Music Therapist

My name is Caroline R. Callaway and I am the clinical psychology practicum student (intern) from Michigan School of Psychology. I come from a Creative Arts background and am a Board-Certified Music Therapist. I received my undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music and for the past five years I have practiced primarily in the mental health setting with people of varying backgrounds. Upright bass was my first love and I primarily use guitar, percussion, and voice in groups. While the focus of my internship is psychology, I plan to regularly integrate music to connect with and gain a deeper understanding of where clients are, and where they would like to go.

In my free time I love to hang with my dog, JoJo Josephine, obsess over my plants, and cook unnecessarily elaborate meals with my partner while scream singing everything from Lizzo to James Taylor.
