Hello! My name is Jesse Chen and I’m a temporary limited license psychologist that is focused on providing individual, family, and couples therapy for people from all walks of life.

I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University (WSU) in 2023. I am currently a 3rd year Ph.D. Counseling Psychology Student at WSU and hope to become fully licensed as a family and couples therapist as I complete my program.

As a counseling psychologist, I yearn to explore, enrich, cultivate, and expand your strengths as an individual. With over two years of experience, I am oriented towards psychodynamics, existential therapy, and person-centered therapy and utilize an integrative approach. I also employ cognitive-based and solution-focused techniques to best fit your needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing poetry, playing tennis and pickleball, and having board game nights with friends and family. I hope to be a part of your therapeutic journey!
