Bio: My name is Dan Liebergot, they/he (lee-bur-gott). I am a queer/trans artist with abolitionist and non-hierarchical frameworks as my guiding principles. As a therapist I value working with individuals and couples and striving for collective healing. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Michigan.

Prior to returning to school, I worked in art museums photographing art and archives in Texas then New York City. I was raised in Houston, Texas but call New York my home.

My areas of focus and specializations are sexuality, gender-identity, complex trauma, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, polyamory, relationship anarchy, uncoupling, family estrangement, kink/BDSM, and grief.

I  integrate trauma-responsive care, somatic, narrative, relational, mindfulness, social justice/justice-centered theories in my practice.

My Interests: I find joy and healing in nature, hiking, making things with my hands, wood carving, magik/tarot, woodsy scents, sweet treats, & sushi!

Ages: Adults 18+

Currently accepting telehealth (Zoom) clients with limited in-person availability. Can accept Medicaid and sliding scale clients.
