Hi! I’m Zeinab, a Clinical Psychology doctoral student with a background in social work. What I enjoy most about this work is getting to know people beyond the symptoms or challenges that brought them to therapy. There is always more to someone’s story, and I believe our relationships, families, culture, past experiences, and environments all shape how we see ourselves and move through the world.
I have experience working with children and adolescents in both therapy and neuropsychological assessment. Through this work, I have supported young individuals with concerns related to anxiety, emotional regulation, attention, learning, executive functioning, self-esteem, school stress, and social or friendship difficulties. My experience in neuropsychological assessment has also given me a deeper understanding of how children think, learn, process information, and experience the world differently. I bring that perspective into therapy by recognizing that what works for one child may not work for another. I also enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem difficulties, and major life changes. I have a special interest in women’s mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum experiences, motherhood, and the many emotional and identity changes that can come with these stages of life.
Our Work Together:
I recognize that culture, family, faith, identity, relationships, and community can play a meaningful role in our lives. I value taking the time to understand what these parts of your life mean to you and how they may connect to what brings you to therapy.

A big part of my work is helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns without feeling like they have to constantly fight or avoid them. Together, we can build practical coping skills, explore what matters most to you, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic in your life.
