Hey There! My name is Radiance and I am a certified School Psychologist and a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist. I am a Detroit native and received my Masters’ from Wayne State University’s School and Community Psychology program in 2021. My therapeutic approach largely utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness in my work with clients, however, I also integrate strengths-based, humanistic, holistic and feminist practices in sessions, as I believe in a more integrative, multi-faceted approach to therapy.  Additionally, as a natural-born creative, I believe in utilizing art and creativity as a form of expression with my clients and as a method of building rapport and encouraging authenticity. My goal as your therapist is to not only promote progress in our sessions, but to help you foster the skills and confidence you need in order to feel successful in everyday life.

Self-advocacy and self-preservation are two of the most important things we can do for ourselves in order to thrive in today’s society. I strongly believe in being vocal about your needs/wants and the importance of filling your own cup. As a mental health professional, I see therapy as a form of self-care and a powerful tool that can offer long-term benefits to those willing to put forth the effort. Together, lets unpack and explore ways that we can help you, help yourself.
