Bio:

I became a therapist because I am endlessly inspired by the beautiful, non-linear ways in which humans grow and heal. It’s a profound honor to walk alongside my clients as they uncover their strengths, navigate challenges, and become the person they want to be. As a queer Black woman with lived experience in navigating the complexities of the mental health system, I bring both professional expertise and a deep personal understanding to my work. I know how daunting the journey to healing can feel, but I also know how our identities and lived experiences can shape us into resilient, dynamic individuals.

What to Expect in Therapy

Therapy with me is a partnership built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. I will meet you exactly where you are, offering a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. Sessions with me are dynamic and tailored to your unique needs—whether that means diving deep into emotions, practicing mindfulness techniques, or developing practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to empower you to feel more connected to yourself and your values, while equipping you with tools to confidently face whatever comes your way.

Using evidence-based practices such as CBT, mindfulness, and meditation, I offer a sacred and affirming space where you can explore your inner world, build self-awareness, and learn to ride the waves of life with greater ease. Together, we will craft a collaborative approach to help you achieve your goals and embrace your innate capacity for growth and transformation.

With years of education and experience as a Social Worker, I specialize in supporting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, as well as adults and teens (14+). My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, self-confidence, relationship challenges, and trauma. Whether you’re seeking a compassionate guide or an empowering collaborator, I’m here to support you on your healing journey.

A bit about me: When I’m not in the office you’ll catch me playing bass, making beats or writing poetry. Creative practice is so important and it influences everything that I do.
