Maria is a mestizx Mexican-American, pansexual, neurodiverse, cis woman. Maria seeks to provide services to individuals who have been historically insufficiently served in mental health settings, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodiverse clients, Autistic people, and people with ADHD and other learning differences. Her depth psychotherapy practice addresses the various forms of distress which result from living within late-stage capitalist white supremacist cishetpatriarchy. Recognizing these systems as the source of challenges, rather than internalizing them, is a major focus of her work. Together with her clients, Maria works towards imagining and developing other ways of being within these systems which lead to improved mental health and empowerment.
